“The militia law passed by Congress in 1792, which remained on the statute books almost unchanged for more than 100 years, provided for compulsory enrollment in the militia of all males between the ages of 18 and 45 with the exception of certain specified officers, and with the further important exception of “all persons who now are or may hereafter be exempted by the laws of the respective states.””
Inhis prophetic novel, “1984” George Orwell illustrated how nefarious elite would control human populations through revision of history and mass media.
There are few more clear examples of this than feminists and the mass media revising history on the “women’s right to vote.”
Women have always had the right to vote in the US, the same as Men, with one narrow exception.
That exception was for the votes cast for early federal government officials. There is a HUGE reason for this one exception and it has to do with SEVERE discrimination against Men. It had nothing to do with discrimination against Women.
Let’s look at New Jersey’s Constitution in 1776.
IV. That all inhabitants of this Colony, of full age, who are worth fifty pounds proclamation money, clear estate in the same, and have resided within the county in which they claim a vote for twelve months immediately preceding the election, shall be entitled to vote for Representatives in Council and Assembly; and also for all other public officers, that shall be elected by the people of the county at large.
There was no prohibition on women voting.
New Jersey and the other colonies had restrictions on women voting in federal elections, and the restrictions applied only to federal elections, because the federal government, at the time, imposed a one-sided conscription law that drafted only MEN into service of the United States.
A 1792 act by Congress required that all able-bodied male citizens purchase a gun and join their local state militia. Women were exempt at great prejudice to Men. The colonies, rightfully, decided that if Men were to die in wars for Congress, then, it was Men, and not women, who should decide federal issues. Going to war was about the only power that the federal government had at the time.
The militia law passed by Congress in 1792, which remained on the statute books almost unchanged for more than 100 years, provided for compulsory enrollment in the militia of all males between the ages of 18 and 45 with the exception of certain specified officers, and with the further important exception of “all persons who now are or may hereafter be exempted by the laws of the respective states.”
Brave Men accepted the challenges but simply asked for the vote over those deciding the issues of War and conscription.
When feminists claim that women were denied the vote, they are enunciating a gross fraud on history.
It is, in fact, only Men who have ever been denied the right to vote.
To this day, it is Men, and only Men, who must register for conscription of their lives in order to be entitled to vote.
Women are automatically given the right to vote, but, in all 50 states, for Men to be able to vote in any election, local, state or federal, Men must register for the Draft.
