Chick-fil-A announced on Monday that the company decided to restructure its donations and stop giving money to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Paul Anderson Youth Home, and the Salvation Army — three organizations that believe marriage is the union between only one man and one woman.
CEO Dan Cathy expressed this same view in 2012, and the fast food restaurant faced boycotts, which didn’t hinder Chick-fil-A from becoming the number three fast food chain, even though it’s closed on Sundays.
Many Christians are disappointed and believe that Chick-fil-A has capitulated to the homosexual lobby. Chick-fil-A has denied this. The Salvation Army issued a statement on the matter.
