HIGH POINT, NC (WFMY) — According to the High Point Police Department’s twitter page, an officer was shot while responding to a trespassing call at a Walmart on South Main St.
The tweet went on to say the officer suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.
A suspect is in custody.
