FoodBizNJ Spotlights Growing Food and Beverage Industry in New Jersey

NJBIZ, New Jersey’s leading business journal, will welcome world-renowned Chef David Burke as the keynote speaker for its upcoming FoodBizNJ event being held on April 24th at the Palace at Somerset Park. Burke, a leading pioneer in American cooking, will join hundreds of local food and beverage companies, entrepreneurs and vendors from the region to spotlight the growing food economy in New Jersey.

FoodBizNJ brings together leaders from New Jersey’s food and beverage community for a day of informational sessions, tastings and networking opportunities designed to grow and promote their businesses. The event’s full-day program features discussions on restaurant and beverage trends, franchising, regulatory and workforce issues, and branding, among others.

Speakers for the event include Paul Dillon, Associate Dean, Business, Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, Hudson County Community College; Adam Torine, Executive Vice President of Development, Villa Restaurant Group; Marilou Halvorsen, President, NJ Restaurant & Hospitality Association and Jeanne Cretella, President, Landmark Hospitality.
