DNC and Wikileaks To Hillary: Blame Yourself For Losing, Not Us

Hillary Clinton can’t seem to move on from her election loss in 2016, giving a series of interviews where she puts the blame for her loss on everyone but herself and her campaign team.

At Recode’s Code Conference in California on Wednesday, Clinton blamed the mainstream media for covering her e-mail controversy, the FBI’s James Comey, the Democratic National Committee, Russia, and Wikileaks. This is on top of blaming bad polling numbers, President Obama, misogyny, Twitter, fake news, and the Trump administration.

Well, Clinton’s blame game received some blowback on Wednesday when members of the DNC and Wikileaks slammed the former Democratic nominee and told her to blame herself for the loss.

Andrew Therriault, the former DNC director for data science, slammed Clinton on Twitter and then shortly afterward deleted the tweets.

Similarly, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange also told Clinton that all he did was publish her own words and had she not made controversial remarks in paid speeches to Goldman Sachs, there would be nothing for him to print.

It would be helpful from here on out if the Democratic Party moved beyond Hillary Clinton if she moved beyond the 2016 election.
