Conservative Twitter Account Restricted For Commenting On Democratic Politicians

Some time around 3:00 am EST on January 6th  a conservative Twitter Account, MassCentral suddenly found it’s account restricted and access was denied the sites operator.

The reason: Your account appears to have exhibited unusual behavior that violate Twitter Rules

The restriction occurred shortly after an article was posted about how elected politician’s who post on Social Media and block users from viewing, replying and retweeting elected official posts was a violation of the First Amendment.

U.S. District Court Judge Naomi Reice Buchwald ruled that Twitter serves as a “designated public forum” and is protected under the plaintiffs’ First Amendment rights. Therefore, the judge added, their “exclusion” from the platform constitutes a breach of those rights.

While the Twitter account can still be accessed by Twitter users it does present a warning page before allowing access to it:

Numerous attempts to access the account have failed but Twitter Support has been contacted and hopefully this is just an honest mistake.

The Viewing and sharing of this article would be greatly appreciated.
