Club SUCCESS provides a supportive environment where adults with serious, persistent mental illness can rebuild their self-respect, dignity, and abilities.
One of the many ways that organizations worldwide are reaching out to those who already had some sense of isolation before the Corona Virus and depended on places like Club SUCCESS of Lakeland Florida.
Club SUCCESS is a place for persons living with mental illness to build self-confidence and self-esteem while reintegrating into their community, becoming more independent and productive, and learning to live happy, healthy lives.
In this program persons living with mental illness are called members rather than clients or patients because it helps foster relationships and recognizes the joint partnership that allows members to work on their recovery by completing education, employment, and housing goals.
In an effort to reduce the isolation some of their club members are experiencing Club SUCCESS is utilizing the internet and a great application called ZOOM for face to face meetings that alleviate some of the boredom and isolation some of us are feeling during this tough time.

Club SUCCESS is part of the Peace River Center in Florida which has 27 locations, 30 programs and accreditation from The Joint Commission and licensed by ACHA and DCF, Peace River Center is one of the largest behavioral health agencies in Florida.
