After 45 Years, Elton John Has Finally Released The ‘Tiny Dancer’ Music Video – VEVO

Since 1967, Elton John has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin, collaborating on more than 30 albums. On Elton John’s fourth album Madman Across the Water, a song appeared with the name “Tiny Dancer.” The song was written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, and initially, wasn’t a huge success.

Overtime, “Tiny Dancer,” grew in popularity and is now considered one of the greatest songs of all time(ranking #397 on Rolling Stone’s 2010 list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time).

The hit song was released over 45 years ago, but now has an official music video. The official music video for “Tiny Dancer” premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.

Building on Elton John and Bernie Taupin’s Californian inspiration, Max Weiland filmed a video for “Tiny Dancer” that reflects on life in Los Angeles from a dozen different perspectives.

The Cut, proudly supported by YouTube, invited filmmakers to create the first official music videos for three of Elton’s most famous songs: http://eltonjohn.com/thecut
