This week, we’ve got you covered no matter where you are in Dubai. In Jumeirah, there’s the return of outdoor entertainment at the Amphitheatre, as well as a brand new dinner deal to tuck into. On the Palm, there are birthday celebrations involving free drinks, and down in DIFC, a new terrace has opened with a happy hour deal you’ll want to know about.

1. Dine the Italian way

There’s a new three-course pairing menu available at Il Borro Tuscan Bistro for the month of November. Curated by head chef Maurizio Bosetti, the Dhs350 menu features chicken liver crostini, mussels, and a peach crumble to finish, each paired with an alcoholic beverage.

2. Celebrate The Tap House turning 1

Tap House

To celebrate its first birthday, The Tap House is throwing a week-long birthday bash until November 9. This includes seven days of drinks vouchers, themed nights, brunches and entertainment. Highlights include extended happy hours from 3pm to 8pm, a free drink on the house for social media posts that tag the venue, and if you’re celebrating a birthday yourself, there’s a free bottle of bubbly for groups of 4 or more when showing your ID.

3. Catch a one-off performance at Dubai Opera

Deaf Men Dancing, a unique and exciting dance company consisting of all-male, professional deaf dancers, will be performing a special production titled ‘Embrace’ at the Opera Promenade this Monday. The dance act, which is part of the UK/UAE Year of Creative Collaboration, is a first for the region. It is free for all to attend, with no tickets required.

4. Test your knowledge with a quiz night

Brunswick Sports Club has introduced a new quiz night, Brunny’s Quiz for Dummies, that takes inspiration from the ‘stupidest’ questions the world has asked the internet. It’s a fun and interactive quiz night that kicks off every week from 8pm, and as well as 20 per cent off the food bill for groups of five or more who participate on the night, winning teams will also get their hands on dining vouchers, brunches and more.

6. Head to a free fitness talk

The latest in Flow’s series of insiprational talks takes place this Tuesday November 7. This time around, the healthy eating hotspot will host personal trainer and CrossFit coach Andy Harper. As co-founder and head coach at Iconic Fitness, Andy is one of the biggest names in the Dubai fitness scene. Andy’s ‘Fit for Purpose’ Flow Talks Series will focus on a complete approach to transforming your health and fitness, aimed at seasoned gym goers and newbies alike.

7. Enjoy the outdoors at the Madinat Amphitheatre

As the cooler weather hits the city, the scenic outdoors at Souk Madinat gets back in full swing. The vibrant Amphitheatre will be hosting DJ Noel Miller and lounge music during the week. It’s a great place to soak up lagoon views while lounging on the cushioned seating.

8. Sip sundowners at a new DIFC terrace

Now the weather is finally cool enough, we’re all about sipping sundowners outside. This week, you’ll find us at the newly opened terrace at Gaucho, DIFC.
