19 Year Old, Kaya Suner Is Working To Bring Isolated Corona Virus Patients Together

A Rhode Island teen 19-year-old, Kaya Suner is working to bring isolated coronavirus patients together with their friends and families, while keeping a safe distance.

“There’s a ban on visitation in the hospitals right now,” he explained. “Patients, you know, don’t have the abilities to connect with their loved ones, so that’s kind of where we step in.”

With hospital bans on visitation, families can’t see their loved ones in dire conditions. In response, Suner, partnered with @RIMedSoc to create ‘COVID Connectors’. Donate unused iPads and iPhones for patients to stay connected.

Given the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals nationwide have had to make the difficult decision to limit or eliminate patient visitation.

Their mission is to help patients communicate with their loved ones and help loved ones communicate with patients.

Because no patient should feel alone. By donating your gently used device you help make that happen.

We will match your device with a New England based hospital to give patients the chance to stay connected with those they love.
