For Immediate Release

WORCESTER – A Worcester County grand jury handed up an indictment today charging Julia Enright with murder in the death of a 20-year-old Westminster man, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

Enright, 21, of Ashburnham, had been charged with murder in district court in July after the body of Brandon Chicklis was discovered on the side of Route 119 in Rindge, N.H. She has been held without bail since.

Family members had reported Chicklis missing after he left his home on June 23 to visit family in New Hampshire then never arrived. Investigators searched Enright’s residence at 171 Packard Hill Road in Ashburnham prior to her arrest and found evidence relating to Chicklis’ death.

The indictment moves Enright’s case to Worcester Superior Court where she is scheduled to be arraigned on January 3.

Assistant District Attorneys Terry J. McLaughlin and Jeffrey T. Travers are prosecuting the case. The State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate the case.

Mr. Early thanks police in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as Ashburnham and Westminster Police, State Police Crime Scene Services, the State Police Dive Team, the State Police Special Emergency Response Team, State Police civilian forensic scientists and New Hampshire State Police and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office for their work on this case.
