Lucy Richards was arrested for sending threatening messages to Lenny Pozner, the parent of a Sandy Hook victim and vocal critic of online “truthers” who believe that the 2012 shooting was a hoax.

Richards told Pozner “You gonna die” and “death is coming to you real soon.”

Other threats Richards sent to Pozner warned him to “look behind you” and “there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Sarah Schall, spokeswoman for the Department of Justice (DoJ) told the media that Richards sent all 4 of her threats in the same day.

Richards is a fan of conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones, who has pushed a fake narrative that the Sandy Hook elementary shooting was a hoax, and the children who died were actors who were unharmed and still alive.

Just last year, Jones was ranting about the massacre being “manufactured” and “completely fake” because “they clearly used actors.”

Pozner is no stranger to the violence of Alex Jones’ audience. He lost his son Noah at Sandy Hook and has endured an offensive trolling effort online by Professor James Tracy.

Tracy has repeatedly harassed Noah’s parents, Lenny and Veronique, claiming that their son is alive, and it is the Pozners who are perpetuating the lie.

Lenny penned an op-ed piece explaining how professor James Tracy and many others have “personally sought to cause our family pain and anguish by publicly demonizing our attempts to keep cherished photos of our slain son from falling into the hands of conspiracy theorists.”

Pozner went on to say that Tracy sent him “a certified letter demanding proof that Noah once lived, that we were his parents, and that we were the rightful owner of his photographic image.”

This harassment went on for 3 years before Pozner publicly responded in his op-ed, which also called for Tracy’s firing from his position at Florida Atlantic University.

Tracy remained unapologetic, claiming that his right to free speech gave him the constitutional right to harass the Pozners. He said: “All I’ve done is to delve into the Sandy Hook event. I think the work I’ve done stands up.”
