Rep. Nancy Pelosi as interviewed by PBS’s Judy Woodruff and said that the “the 3 G’s” are leading uneducated white men to vote for Donald Trump: “Guns, Gays, and God”
Nancy Pelosi Talks About Struggles With White Male Voters
When journalist Judy Woodruff asked why Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump polls so well with white men compared with Mrs. Clinton, she replied:
“So many times, white — non-college-educated — white males have voted Republican. They voted against their own economic interests because of guns, because of gays, and because of God, the three G’s — God being the woman’s right to choose.”
“For me, it’s particularly almost emotional to think that she will have that much power to help develop a consensus in our country and be the leader of the free world,” Mrs. Pelosi said.
Nancy Pelosi is anxious to get the speaker’s gavel back and she needs Hillary Clinton’s help to do it.
If Pelosi reclaims the speakership, it will probably be because another woman — Hillary Clinton — has won the White House. Such a scenario would produce a watershed moment in Washington and American politics: Two women, for the first time ever, would control the levers of power on both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue.
